How many here on the Farang Pub hope to die in Thailand?
This is a very interesting comment. Why don't you flesh it out, and create an even more interesting Topic? I think there are many among us who enjoy roaming cemeteries, reading the headstones, and wondering.....What If..... I think we find fascination in the fact that...... there but for the grace of God, go we. Personally, I prefer to just visit. ========= In the past, I had often thought of buying up old headstones and planting them in my garden, just as a curiosity to passersby. I do like reading the inscriptions....much! Also, in Taiwan, most of the better headstones have ceramic tiles with an image of the individual who lies beneath. -

Getting a credit card
Again no mystery, just plain economic reality and little to do with greed. The card company charges a variable fee that can go as high as 4% (it depends on a number of factors but 4% it possible). But of course that is just one of the associated costs there are paperwork, accounting and record keeping costs involved. Once you analyse everything it is quite possible that overall the business makes little to no extra profit specially since they have to average out the expenses Whilst that maybe a requirement, there is nothing I see in the provided link that supports your statement. -

Baht strength - How long?
It does, as the chart on the left below clearly shows (courtesy of Gold Price Charts & Historical Data - GoldPrice.org). The chart on the right is the price of gold in USD per oz. for the same, six months long, timeframe. -

Billie Eilish and Finneas Endorse Kamala Harris for President
Billie Eilish is exceptionally intelligent, her lyrics are clear evidence of this. Also in interviews you can tell she is smarter than average. A very thoughtful girl. But politically a naked child basically, only concerned with her abortion, transgender stuff. She's not exactly "normal". On foreign policy and the economy I doubt she has more knowledge than the average 15 year old. Indeed Harris comes across as a normal woman, who will follow others' leads. But the presidential office is an office that demands leadership. You can't just sit by say and "oh okay, I'll fly to Zelensky to tell him will send weapons and not to sign the peace treaty". It takes a mind that can understand what has to be done. I don't think Harris is equipped for this. Her policy on abortion is understandable, for a woman, but on foreign policy and the economy, she's a a blind led by the one-eyed. Any man should be terrified to vote for Harris, who has made clear she will pour gasoline on the fire that is Ukraine, and that she believes she can solve inflation by fixing prices should warn the most ardent believer that in terms of economics Harris an unwritten page.- 1
