mrjohn
Most Makros have ready peeled shallots (hom deng) in vacuum seeled bags. They make excellent pickled onions without the inconvenience of peeling them!
Bpuumike
The London Pie shop in Ekamai usually has it. Don't remember the price.

Crossy
I do agree with those who say 'make your own' and we do make our own sausages. The beetroot were an impulse buy, not had them for ages but not an essential so never had the urge to make them. Since Wifey has acquired a taste for them, time to make some
xen
I have tried that beetroot .i have bought it in Foodland but is a little sweet for me but will do if plain beetroot slices in vinegar is not available. I always bring a few cans of unsweetened Golden Circle sliced beetroot into Thailand and i can eat it everyday. One of the essentials of life.
