30 Day Visa Exempt Australian Passport..How long Can I extend?

Featured Replies

I'm on a 30 day visa exempt tourist stamp on an Australian passport.

I have read I can now extend this by another 30 days at chaengwattana?

Is this correct for an Australian passport?

What documentation would i need to do this? Can i do all the forms while I am out there?

very simple TM7 form, 1 photo, copy of main page and entry stamp of your passport along with the copy of your departure card...

You can get a 30 day extension of your visa exempt entry..

You will need a completed TM7 application form with a 4cm X 6cm photo attached to it. Download and print 2 sided. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/tm7.pdf

You will need a copy of your passport photo page. entry/permit to stay stamp and TM6 departure card. And 1900 baht for the fee.

Thanks guys

Anytime Bookman.

I knew I was staying less than 30 days .. just turned up and left before 30 days ... no paperwork apart from 'point of entry' you have to complete when you go anywhere

Not sure how relevant that is to the O/P since he was asking how to extend his stay beyond the 30 days granted him at the airport when he arrived.
