lf you have a valid visa or extension of stay based on marriage you can remain.

Renewing an extension of stay based on marriage or obtaining a new visa will require the presence/assistance of your wife

Of course one needs to define living together as husband and wife, if the couple are legally married, she does spend time in the family home in Thailand then who is to say they are not living together as husaband and wife ?

There is no criteria stated that husband and wife need to spend "X" number of days together per year

Further if i was on a marriage extension in Thailand, my job nesscitates i spend at least 180 days pa away from the marital home, so you suggest both myself and Mrs are not living together as husband and wife ?

The requirement is by law (de jure) and in actual fact (de fracto) as stated in immigration order 327/2557

Obviously some, like offshore workers, would likely pass inspection.
