I have a container that will arrive at Leam Chabang wharf near Pattaya. It is my personals household (all used furnitures and cloth). I need an agent that could help me for custom administration.

Can someone suggest me a good enterprise or agent to help me do the job fast without hassle.

Thanks,

When I imported my house contents from the UK the customs wanted TEA money to "find" my container.

So I reported it lost to my import shipping company and asked for a claims form

Funny thing was customs no Longer wanted TEA money and denied ever asking for it.

Ain't life strange !!!

This guy did a great, hassel free job for me including arranging transport to my home in Udon Thani. I didn't have to goto Bangkok (Laem Chabang) myself, he did it all.

But you had to send him your passport I guess?

Similar to importing our stuff in my wifes name through Bangkook (Khlong Toei).

I was a bit hesitant to send the passport, but I did via EMS.

The passport was handed out when the truck arrived at our home.

As TW was in Aust. to sign all the Export documentation we had to send him her ID card for formalities. EMS both ways within 4 days - No dramas, BUT in saying that I/we had some unfounded insecurity issues.

EDIT: Yes, strange. Customs will not accept a certified copy????
