Hi my friend made a 1 year non o based on retirement in sweden its stand that it expire 23 oct 2015.

He wonder what he should do because he want to stay another year. Possible to go to Laos and do he have to show any pension income.

If he did it in Sweden very likely it's a multientry Non Immigrant O visa or a Non Immigrant OA , in either case he cant obtain this kind of visas in laos, only a single entry, providing all paperwork required

The only place nearby he would get a multiple entry non-o visa would be in Penang and he would have to show 800k baht in the bank or proof of 65 k baht income. If he can show those financials he can apply for an extension of stay based upon retirement at immigration here
