PHNOM PENH (Khmer Times) – The Immigration Department deported 18 more undocumented Vietnamese migrant workers yesterday, sending them by bus to the border post at Kram Sam Nah.

Police sources said they had arrived in the country illegally, and were working in Siem Reap province.

Almost 3,000 people have been arrested by immigration authorities since 2014. The migrants came from all over the map, but Vietnamese nationals comprised the vast majority. In July, 255 migrant workers were arrested, 235 of them Vietnamese.
