Visa Run to Cambodia

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I need to do a visa run from Pattaya before 23rd of August and want to avoid going to Poipet because of the long delays there at the border crossing.

I want to activate the second entry on my Tourist Visa.

What are other options regarding border crossings and what is the cheapest way of doing this?

Thanks for your help and advise.

Six years ago the Sportsman Pub in one of the sois between Beach and Second Roads close to the Lek Hotel ran a visa service that was recommended and I found to be very good the one time I tried it (I settled in Isaan soon after). It went to one of those borders (turning north at Chantaburi and running up the hills for 25km or so!).

I see from the internet that a visa service still operates form there and the price seems not too bad. Here's their home page

http://sportsmanpub.com/

Map and phone on the 'Contact Us' page and visa service with prices shown under "Information" / "Visa Services".

Other Pattaya vets can probably advise if this is still one of the better visa runners. I am unconnected - apologies mods if posting such links breaches any ThaiV regs!

i flew from bkk to pp. the ticket was about $60-$80 usd if i remember correctly, but then again i think ahead.

if you can't afford that consider going home.
