Worked a few days ago, tried to change it again and while it shows up on my profile does not show up anywhere else, only my old one....going on 24 hours...not 10 mins. Tried to delete old photo and re upload, brings back old avatar, logged out and in, cleared cookies...NO JOY.

You are NOT doing anything WRONG.

I have received an additional bonus from TV - avatar rotates on an inconsistent basis=adds spice to one's life.

This happens because of so-called caching. To speed up page loading on your screen, ISPs store some page elements on their servers instead of downloading them every time from the source, and refresh this cache during times of lower traffic.

Add to this the fact that your avatar is stored on the Thaivisa servers in several different shapes and sizes under different file names. When you upload a new avatar, all new versions may not get produced and saved simultanously, and your ISP's cache may not refresh them all at the same time.

This very moment, for example, I see on my tablet as your avatar a photo of what appears to be Prime Minister Prayuth and on my PC this image of a red motorcycle:

The number 94569 you see in all file names is your membership number on Thaivisa.

If it is the photo of Prayuth you are trying to get rid off, this is good because it is not allowed as an avatar or profile picture on Thaivisa.

Yes same for me. I changed mine and assumed it wasn't working. Some days weeks later it had changed !
