I was coming back from the Asia hotel on Sunday night at about 19:30 hrs on the skytrain. When we arrived at Siam the whole train filled up when Arabic looking french young guys. There must of been some kind of junior football tournament going on. Perfect way to get into the country with the football team.

What better way to show just how incompentent the RTP are, just give them a case to investigate and solve that they don't have a foreigh patsy handy to throw the blame on.and present to the media for photo session.

There must be quite a few people or groups of people who have nothing but disdain for the entire police organization just due to some of the esteamed members past actions or inaction.when private citizens were involved and needed help/assistance.

Just another group that could be added to suspect list being compiled by the tv sherlocks and the media.

Thats got be false name. I reckon he'll walk as they wont be able to fit it on the charge sheet

I saw on another thread where the cops are still "Seeking an arrest warrant".

so, No worries.

Are we going to be considered a suspect if we fly to Thailand at this time?

No you are not. And please stop this police bashing or maybe it's Thai bashing ? They are doing their best , not an easy case to solve in any country.

Police free French man after investigation shows he is not the wanted bomber

The French man who was detained for questioning by the special police team hunting the Ratchaprasong bomb suspect was freed from police custody after he was found not involved and was not the suspect the team was looking for.

Pol Gen Jaktip Chaichinda, who heads the special team and is also the would-be new national police chief, confirmed Wednesday night the French man was not the bomb suspect.

The man, identified as Louis Nelson David Marie Delapalme, was detained for questioning yesterday when he resembled the wanted bomb suspect and has bruise on his left hand.

The wanted bomb suspect appeared in the video footage released by the police showed the man wore cloth bands on both arms, which the police said he might try to conceal cut or wound on his arm.

The French man caught police attention when he was rejected boarding a British Airways’ flight to UK with the airline staff at Suvarnabhumi airport, reasoning his passport was wet.

As the tourist police helped to coordinate the French embassy to apply for new document, the police became suspicious of his bruise on the left arm, and since he looked alike the wanted bomb suspect, they detained him for questioning.

He claimed his bruise was from a bite by a snake when he visited Chiang Mai.

Serious ? How does anyone know the bomber had cuts on his arms.

Those sleeves are to cover tattoos. But if we can accuse a Frenchman so much better than finding a Thai.

Here we go.. Gestapo time. They going to arrest everyone they see wearing a bandage on their arm? Manhunts rarely produce desired results and usually injure more innocent people than criminals.

What justification is it to to refuse boarding if a passport got wet and to be detained by immigration?

Well, just maybe the Passport was damaged to an extent that it couldn't be read properly?

All very well to take shots at the Police but you would probably be amongst the first to blame them, if they failed to act and the suspect turned out to be the Bomber but was allowed to leave the country.

That one unlucky guy to get bit by a snake in beautiful chiangmai then rejected from boarding a plane because of a wet passport.

If the Aussie models excuse was that he was bitten by a one eyed trouser snake I would tend to believe him.

The investigators seem to have a real thing for foreign male models and actors. I believe it's known as the Zoolander theory.

... But why male models?

Good work Clumseau Somyot. C'mon, this guy looked nothing like the backpack man in the CC videos. The RTP just wanted to make it appear (it's all about show in Thailand) that they are hot on the trail of the bomber. The only resemblance was Delapalme's wild hair, which wasn't that close to the bomber's hairpiece anyway. Falangs must look all alike to the Thais, who can't differentiate between European stock and west asian/middle eastern facial characteristics.

I created this account because Nelson is my friend, he's innocent, that was a big mistake.

You got a bad head buddy. You may get jailed for that head alone

Just a thought but if this was planned out so well why would the bomber not wear long sleeves to conceal any wounds or tatoos on his arms.

Maybe its all part of a disguise to throw thailands finest but hey ho what do i know?

So who are you NLB ? A Thai citizen ?

And where were you the evening of August 17, Mr. NLB?
