Toknarok
In front of my house in Southern Buriram I have laid down a large concrete pad. I need this pad because I'm wheelchair bound. Unfortunately almost the whole pad has become infested with a black/grey algae. When rthe concrete is dry it's no problem but when it's wet it's very slippery and dangerous. How can I eradicate this.Chemical treatment or a high pressure water hose? Any advice appreciated.
stoneyboy
High pressure wash and apply a couple of coats of sealer maybe. Is the concrete shaded by trees or anything that may be contributing to the issue.

weegee
Throw Chlorine granuals (very liberal) over the concrete, leave it 10 minutes and pressure wash it off..NOTE(Rub the chlorine in with a broom)....lasts about 6 months. If you want to go further, seal it as above, but make sure it's completely dry first.....
