I can not comment personally on Chiang mai immi.

But I've always been in the company of my girlfriend and daughter when applying at Phitsanulok.

only on birth certificate , i got 60 days in march after a non O single entry same for september

my son got 5 year old just neeed to wait 2 year more for be legal father

Normally you only get one 60 day extension based on family per border entry.

As for your question, just say your son is in school....

Do not know if that works in Chiang mai although, but Immigration officers have also children...
