CDRM confirms several independent organizations can still function as usual

The Council of Democratic Reform under the Constitutional Monarchy (CDRM) states that some independent organizations have not been terminated and still functioned as usual.

Those organizations include the National Economic and Social Advisory Council, the National Human Rights Commission, the National Broadcasting Commission and the National Telecommunications Commission.

CDRM said the presence of these organizations is made legal by acts, executive decrees and other pieces of legislation which have still been in force.

It said organic laws issued under the 1997 constitution became invalid after the charter was revoked except those governing state audit, the Election Commission, the Ombudsman, political parties, anti-corruption and the Supreme Court’s political crime section.
