Lite Beer
You can apply anytime during the final 30 days.
nowretired
Best not to leave these matters to the last minute. There is no requirement for a new extension to be applied for 30 days in advance. An application could be made on the day preceding the expiry of your current extension. wpcoe
In case you didn't know, there's no "penalty" for applying early. Regardless when you receive your new extension, it will be extended to October 9 next year.
Pib
Generally 30 days in advance...but some offices allow up to 45 days such as Cheang Wattana/Bangkok immigration...I just did my annual retirement extension at CW this morning...a little more than 30 days before the current one expires....walked into immigration at 8:45am, walked out at 10:08am with a new extension.
