Dengue fever outbreak in Ratchaburi province
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- A dengue fever outbreak in Ratchaburi province has already claimed six lives, deputy provincial public health chief Dr Pajaree Areerop said Tuesday.

The number of dengue fever cases in the province has gone beyond 2,600 this year, making it Thailand's fourth highest outbreak, she said, adding that Suan Phung had three deaths, the highest in the area.

Each district with dengue fever cases has set up a disease-control war room, as well as a campaign to destroy mosquito larvae, she said. People living in risky areas are being urged to see the doctor if they have had fever for more than two days.
