4 day overstay

I have just done my visa extension and realized that my flight is actually 4 days after my visa expires. Will an overstay of 4 days mean it is more difficult to re-enter the country again and will it make it more difficult when applying for a tourist visa? Or will i simply have to pay 2000 baht in the airport and thats all?

To avoid the overstay you could apply for a 7 day extension, pay 1900 baht and be given 7 days to leave the country.

The 7 day extension is cheaper than the overstay and keeps you all legal.
