One screw in Tooth 45,000THB?

I recently had an infected tooth lower jaw that required an Extraction...I went to Pattaya International and they did an excellent job-Now No pain.....I ask for a screw in Type crown to fill the gap and have been quoted by several Dentist a Minimum of 45,000 THB...This is the best deal I have been able to find unless you know of a Dentist that can do this job for less Money? A small Tooth with a Big Price...

Try Phyathai Sri Racha. But are you going to be there long enough for the Implant procedure? You are looking at perhaps two to three weeks to check initial progress and then three to six months later for the crown.

Not all dentists are experienced Implantologists. So they may just sub-contract the services of a roving implantologist. Heed my advice. It's not just about the price.

Its a surgical procedure so those prices are pretty reasonable, in Europe you pay 100k baht upwards and that's only for the implant, crown not included.

I was quoted about the same price in Bangkok , but I really need more than one so it ended up 200k or more ,

first they look if your jawbone has enough material to take an implant ,

but it does take time , and visits 2-3 months apart to make sure the implant takes and is doing OK

Further to my recommendation, the Implantologist I recommend has been doing Implants for at least ten years, as evidenced by this post.

I did a lot of research before I decided on who to choose install my Implants. So I have no reservations about making a personal recommendation.

45k is probably just the implant itself you will still need the crown which will cost you anywhere from 5k to 15k depending on the type of crown. A ceramic and zirconia crown cost about 13800 baht.

45k for basic implant is the going rate, if you prefer Korean or US implants prices will rise to 70K +....compared to western countries 45K is at least half price. If the gap bothers you that much, have a plate, cheap as chips at about 2K

Partial Plates are a Hassle and never have liked them...The other teeth next to the Missing one are crowned so a Bridge won't work...My options are the screw in Type or have a gap between my teeth....The extraction was recent and a healing time is needed before a screw in can be done..Thanks PP

Isn't Jiu-Jitsu talking about a crown that is attached to the implant? The implant is just the screw part that screws into your jawbone, then there's a crown that is attached to the screw, and maybe that type of crown is a lot more expensive than a crown that is glued to an existing tooth. Am I right or am I wrong?
