Arrest warrants sought for the 12th and 13th bombing suspects

BANGKOK: -- Royal Thai Police commissioner Pol Gen Somyot Poompunmuong said in Tuesday that the police investigating the two bombing incidents in Bangkok will seek warrants from the Minburi provincial court to arrest two more bomb suspects, raising total wanted suspects to 13.

He said the arrest warrants for the 12th and 13 th suspects came after the 10th suspect, Yusufu Mierraili, arrested at the Aranyaprathet border, gave useful information and revealed other accomplices in the bombings.

The national policy chief didn’t name the 12th and 13th bomb suspects, but said they were mentioned by Yusufu during the interrogation.

Earlier the police chief said Yusufu named “Ishan” or Abudusataer Abudureheman, 27, also from Xinjiang, being a mastermind.

But Yusufu said Ishan had left the country one day before the Erawan shrine bombing.

Yusufu admitted to have known the man in blue shirt which kicked a bag into the Sathorn canal at the same day of the Erawan shrine bombing. But the bomb exploded the next morning.

Well, like American police, they are not particularly interested in finding the real culprits, they are interested in finding people they can convict in a kangaroo court. If they can't shoot them and drop a gun or a bag of yaa baa bu them.

Regardless of whether all the arrested suspects are part of the Shrine bomb plot, it appears that a major human trafficking ring has been broken up and complicit government officials have been identified. I doubt this breakthrough would have happened without the search for the Shrine boming suspects.

Can we raise that to 14, then you've got a football team coffee1.gif
