theoldgit
Providing that he can satisfy the UKVI that the visit is genuine, affordable and he is likely the leave the UK then there is no reason why a visa shouldn't be granted. The evidence required for a five day visit would be the same as a five week one, and many applications are successful every day. He will need to apply online and visit the Visa Application Centre in Bangkok to submit a hard copy of the application and any supporting evidence. Supporting evidence would be proof of affordability, ties to the home country as well as details of the proposed trip. http://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/thailand/
