Extension of multiple non o with 2 months. What is needed?

Featured Replies

Dear all,

What is needed to extend my multiple non O with an extra 2 months?

And how much does it cost?

Thanks,

Only the 90 day permit to stay your visa allowed can be extended. Visas are not extended.

If you are married to a Thai or have a Thai child you can apply for a 60 day extension of stay to visit them. If not you can only get a 7 day extension.

You can do an entry just before your visa expires and get another 90 day entry also.

Thanks Ubon Joe,

I am married with a Thai. So as I understood from what you wrote I could opt for the 60 day extension. However is this extension valid as a multiple entree or just a one time 60 day maximum, but I gotta stay in Thailand?

Next week I got to go on a business trip and leave the country. By the time I am back my visa has expired.

Alternatively I could return to Savanakhet for a new multiple non O.

I am weighing my options therfor I grateful for your input.

When does you current 90 day entry end? You need to be on the last couple of weeks of that entry to apply for the 60 day extension.

You can get a re-entry permit to keep your current entry valid or the 60 day extension combined with remaining days left on your current entry.

Current 90 days ends 21 of September.

Current multiple non O on the 22 of September.

You could apply for the 60 day extension and after it is done get a re-entry permit.

The 60 day extension will cost 1900 baht and a single re-entry permit 1000 baht.

Your wife will need to go with you when you apply for the extension. You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy, copies of you wife's house book registry and ID card.

Dependent upon where you apply you may be asked for proof of residence if not living where you wife's house book is for.
