tdm
Hi, currently out of country. Current non o multi entry expires 22/10/15. Before I return to LOS on 24/10/15 I need to apply for a new non o by post which takes 3 to 5 working days. If I apply now for my new non o are they likely to issue it considering there would be an overlap until the current one expires? I'd like to apply before the 22/10/15 so as not to be leaving it to the last minute, cheers, tdm
oncearugge
Depends on where you are applying and if you meet requirements. In principle there is no reason why not as your current visa is near to expiry.
Suradit69
Suggest you try calling the embassy/consulate that you intend to use and explain the issue to them and send a copy of your travel itinerary along with the application. As said above, it depends on the embassy/consulate you use, but unlikely to be a problem.
elviajero
I don't see that it would be an issue especially if your included flight confirmation and an explanation with your application. But it would be a good idea to call or email the office you're applying at beforehand. My guess is that they would cancel the visa in your passport when issuing the new one.
