Which country is the best place to get a non immigrant B? I am looking for speed and ease. I was hoping to return to Penang because I had gone there for my first non immigrant B. I have been reading that the consulate there is getting tougher. Please help my visa expires on OCT2. Can I get an extension? I have a one year work permit visa.

My husband went to Penang this month for non-imigrant B visa, he had one year B-visa before but now they gave him only three months visa, and they said that next time he has to have work permit to show (they put a stamp to his passport that says that), the Thai company is not enought.

Don't believe there is a problem if you have the normal paperwork and work permit. Check Sunbelt postings as believe he has outlined the exact requirements at several Consulates.

I went to Penang last August and they gave me a 3-month non b visa (with a stamp that says i have to get a work permit soon). When my friend went there two weeks ago, she was denied a non b visa because she lacked wp3.

Just make sure you have all documents ready. You'll most probably get a 3-month non b. Or try elsewhere (KL?) for multiple non b.

Kuala Lumpur Thai Embassy requires a work permit to issue a multiple entry Class - B. Otherwise they only a signle entry 90 day visa.
