What is "Loss of Face" ?

Who really cares?

I can loose face, but i would never know it.

Lose face to who?

Short memories, they forget very fast.

This is not a Samaria Culture.

Get over it, again no one really cares!

Short memories, I think not.

The case of that Thai ( Deleted@) who had the UN researcher's passport blacklisted for proving that the Thai had plagiarized stuff for his doctorate - that went on for what, 6 years of death threats?

Don't ever assume that Thais have short memories, if you insult or make them lose face.

The news is not what it appears to be. The Thai Navy apparently still has other charges pending against Morrison. Sounds like a tactical shift.

Really? Do tell.

I don't know of anyone who thought the Navy had clean hands in this affair...

Navy personnel have been linked to the debacle recently...vindicating Australian Alan Morison...and making the Navy Brass look a bit un-shiny...

Nice try Navy...trying to deflect attention...better luck next time...

No.....vindicating Reuters. AM quoted them, it was not an original article.

From the article in the Age

"Morison has put his Phuket-based company up for sale, saying defending the charges had been a huge financial and personal burden.

"I guess we derive a great deal of satisfaction from being proved right, even if it has cost us quite a bit to be true to that," he said."

I hope he sues the Navy for legal costs punitive damages.
