Where would a Thai person obtain a criminal record report?

As in one that says they have no criminal record. I was told the police department does not do this.

I am trying to find out where one goes to obtain a criminal background check, on a Thai National.

It can definitely be done, as it is a requirement for Emmigration to several countries, eg Australia.

The main Police Branch downtown near Siam Paragon.

Will provide a criminal record complete with a photograph, for free.

I know of people who say they can get them on Khao San Road!
