BTS Ploenchit/Chitlom to Don Muang Airport

Featured Replies

What is the best (easiest/quickest) way to get from Ploenchit to Don Muang Airport apart from taxis?

BTS to Mochit. A1 bus to Don Muang airport. The bus stops outside the MRT station Chatuchak

Bus #'s 29, 59 or 504

How far is it from MoChit to the Airport ?

I assume the bus uses city streets , are there any buses from MoChit that use the expressway ?

About 30 min. No buses that use the tollway, that I am aware of.

The A1 bus uses the tollway.

I advised my friend to do so. He called me today and told me it was a good suggestion.

However, he took a taxi (100 baht) from Morchit to DM after having waited in vain for the A1 bus for almost half an hour.

Hello,

What time are you going to the airport? The traffic jam will start at around 4pm

in Central Bangkok, and it'll get worse if it's raining.

I'd think it better for you to take the BTS to Mochit and then hop on a taxi straight

to the airport. I wouldn't recommend you to take a local bus like No.29 (6.5B) if

you have loads of luggage with you. You never know when the A1 Airport Bus will

arrive, especially if it's raining.
