Working illegally?

I notice a lot of people are living in Thailand without work permits but sustaining themselves economically.

Where exactly do they find work?

Are they all language teachers?

How do you know just how many are working without permits?

There are obviously quite a few illegal teachers but it's not the only way to support a life in the LoS.

Many of us are in O&G on rotation or working major projects around the region but still living in Thailand.

How could you notice this? Work permits aren't displayed around teachers' necks! They're usually locked away in the HR department at school.
