Suggestion For Notification Settings

May I suggest a new setting in General Account Settings, Notification Preferences?

After these two setting:

Notification method to use for replies to followed topics

Notification method to use for topics in followed forums

...can we have another setting:

Notification method to use for replies to my topics

The reason being that whenever I start a new topic - which is rarely - I have to remember to click the "Follow this topic" button. If I don't, I don't get any notifications of replies. (I believe this problem was exacerbated when the "Reply" button was removed from the first post of each thread.)

I don't want to "Auto follow topics I reply to", otherwise I would get a zillion notifications every day - I only want notifications of posts that quote me or my topics.
