I went to Futurepark in Rangsit yesterday to get some computer parts and check out the movies and software.

Not sure if it is permanent but no more movies or software stores in the mall.

Internet killed the video store *. Nowadays you can get everything you want from streaming and torrent sites. And you don't even have to leave your room.

Yep, even Fortune mall is going upscale. I have not been to Pantip in ages, but I understand even they are undergoing renovation. Used to be fun poking around in Pantip.

Top floor of Zeer is getting pretty quiet of late.

The only good bargain in Zeer are to be found in the two lower floors. Competition in Thailand is rigged by a few big wholesalers who fix the bottom price and you can go to Pantip, Fortune or Zeer, you will find everywhere the same price to the cent. The only difference I found is that Fortune usually offers the latest models while "bargain" in Zeer or Pantip are usually outdated models stock clearance.
