The guard of my shop told me that a farang who is well known for shoplifting daily from neighborhood shops got caught last night stealing some beer and had to be held down by four men until the police arrived. He was threatening to find them and kill them the whole time.

When the police arrived, they let him go because they said that he was a "tourist".

No wonder some Thai people are not so friendly to foreigners any more.
