Russian Defense Ministry commented CNN report:

I can't say everything, but any professional in this field knows that in carrying out such operations, the target image is always made before and after the impact.
In addition, we have clock running group of drones over Syria.
Therefore, no matter how distasteful and "surprising" were our hits for our colleagues in the Pentagon and Langley, all the running ship missiles found their targets.
It's a fact. Otherwise it could be admitted that objects of terrorist groups in Syria located at a considerable distance from each other exploded themselves. And at the same time

Terrorist cows are an up and coming threat. Congrats to Russia for dealing with them. I'm not sure the US has the guts to do something like this.

No doubt about it- America has to share some of the blame for the disaster in the Middle East. A failed policy by several American Administrations has led to this state of Affairs. It is time for America to go home. Get out of Iraq, Afghan and Syria. The Russians want to flex their muscles. Let them. The best American policy would be to let the Russians spend their money and their lives and then both Assad and the Russians can take care of ISIS. The World wants the Americans to die for them and then criticize them when the policy goes awry. If Europe doesn't like it- they can also send their forces and their people to die. The money saved from withdrawing from this senseless adventure can be spent to help Americans not ungrateful others.

Yes, this is a very good and balanced point of view!

very clever....

leave it all for putin to clean up? Wouldn't that just be great!

lol then what? Hand over the keys to mercedes?

Reads like the Kremlin's foreign language skills and techniques aren't faring too well either. As with Putin's missiles in to Syria and Iran, the statement is a bomb too.

Maybe some of the native English language Putin fanboyz of the world can volunteer their translation and skills of interpretation to the flaks of the Kremlin to help 'em out.

Looking around globally and even regionally it is evident the native English language world has a bunch of cultural and social rejects from it who would qualify. One could be confident Putin could work it into his currently operating Syria civil war PR budget. The precedent exists: the little tyrant easily accommodated one Edward Snowden bearing US national security secrets.

Wasn't it cloudy weather over Iran and Syria the latest days ?

I don't think that you can see 26 missiles at low altitude, outside radar detection and under invisible cloud coverage in darkness in evening/at night...

http://www.skymetweather.com/insat/weather-satellite-images-of-india/01-00

Moreover, Russians are well aware that they've entered a war against stealth enemies outside Syrian borders.

See footages on the net where most strikes and attacks from Russian air forces in Syria have been done on low altitude below radar detection in order to keep the surprise effect.

http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/video-shows-russian-mi-24-hind-attack-helicopters-in-in-1735768242

Syrian Army air attacks were previously tipped to the rebels. The Russians are providing a turning point in this conflict by acting with long range missiles.

Which makes some others quite nervous...by providing false information like 4 missiles who didn't reach their targets...

Awaiting more nonsense in the future like OP with perhaps high tech surface to air missiles deployed for the first time in this conflict by the rebels next to their existing wall mart submachine guns delivered somewhere, somehow in the ME on the back of a shiny Toyota Hilux with cupholders....

Read the story, the missiles were launched from 1000km away. Should have been easy to track and preumably they exploded when they hit Iran so that would present a large signature.
OP originated from a press release from CNN. Not really an objective media source if you screen their curriculum in the past overseas US conflicts.

Responding with 'should have' and 'presumably' confirms the incertitude of the facts.

CNN refers to 2 'presumably' official statements from the White House and Pentagon. Again 'presumably' OP refers to this 'should have' CNN coverage.

Nothing more.

Perhaps, CNN and consorts 'should have' provided more credible proofs, instead of 'presumably' facts...

Furthermore, the Russians used 26 of their latest SS-N-33 guided cruise missiles launched from the Caspian sea, far away and below the radars of the armada of the 6th US fleet in Mediterranean waters.

The Russian and Chinese flotilla in Mediterranean waters are equiped with S-300 missiles to intercept hostile aircraft. Not really for Syrian rebels.

11 hostile targets were eliminated around Aleppo, Idlib and Raqqa with these 26 cruise misiles. Ammunition factories, training centres and fuel supplies were destroyed in the meanwhile. Questions raise, that if the Russians could destroy them, why didn't the coalition forces destroyed them previously?

Makes it logical to start fabricating CNN encapsulated lies...

The secretary of defense issued a statement on this. Very official. Do some research on satellites. They can easily pickup launches and detonations, automatically, from pretty much anywhere in the world. Clouds or not.

The reason these places weren't bombed by the coalition is they are rebel strongholds, not ISIS. Russia is actually helping ISIS gain ground now. Again, plenty of articles about this on the net if you have the desire to read them.
