did you know that the euro coin weighs 8.4 grammes and a ten baht coin weighs in at 8.5 grammes, plus their the same size and colour what a head scratcher that is, dont ya think

Actually, this story was all over the internet. So I got a bag full of 10-Baht coins and tried it across Euro-land to get tickets for public transportation. Did not work, seems these guys have been reading the story as well and made their vending machines a bit more sophisticated.

Probably, vending machines for cigarettes do accept Baht. Never tried it.

Tip: if you come from a small town in Europe, don't try it. Even the machine might accept the coin(s) the people might know who is in town from Thailand :o

but some machine accept them and some others don't :D

useless to try drinks machine from america ... :o

and tickets machines as toll machines ...

but any other could work ... may be ...

try them in country-side :D
