Featured Replies

Hi, do I need more than my passports when transfer my 1 year retirement extension from my old passport, to my new passport ?

And does it cost anything to do it ?

You will need a letter from you embassy requesting the transfer dependent upon the immigration office you have to use.

You will need copies of your new passport passport photo page. Old passport photo page and all Thai visas, extensions of stay and entry stamps. A copy of your TM6 departure card.

This form. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/transferstamp.pdf

There is no fee.

Thank you Joe

Get all the pages copied, they asked me for that 2 weeks ago.

My extension expires when my passport expires so I will not be applying for a transfer but for a new extension in my new passport. Will I still need a letter from the embassy

You will probably need the letter and you will need some stamps transferred including detail about your original "O" visa.
