which visa for my wife kids

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm living in Thailand and working here. I've a work permit, our kids have a non-o visa following my work permit and my wife will get also a non-o visa.

We just get married last week, smile.png and now my company is doing all the paper to apply the non-o visa for her

My wife is Filipina and has 2 kids. I've check with my company, how we should do to get visa for her kids and they told me that I should adopt them, but they will check with the company agent if there is another way.

Do you know if my wife kids (I'm not the father) can get a non-o visa when my wife get her visa?

As the kids are going to school and if they come here, they will go to a Filipino school, can we apply a student visa?

Thanks in advance.

Thomas

Your wife's children can get a dependent extension of stay based upon your extension.

From clause 2.20 of the police order.

"(4) In the case of children, adopted children, or spouse’s children, said children, adopted children, or spouse’s children must not be married, must live with the alien as part of the family, and must not be over 20 years of age except in case of the person hereof is of illness or disability and cannot live without support of father or mother:"
