I want to do a visa run to KL from bangkok, and when i try to book a return flight for the same day, the website will not allow it.

Is there a rule around this? I could book a return with thai airways for example, but is there some restriction?

I dont want to be stuck in KL for the night as i need to come back to bangkok.

it does.

I have same day tickets from them.

What it does not allow is when the time is too close, its not advisable anyway, as flights can be delayed.

I went all the way to the point of entering my name and etc with same day flights selected.

Did get this message. But it does not say I can't do it.

Note:
  • The time difference between your travels is within a short timeframe. If this is not intentional, please reselect a later return flight

How far apart were you flights on the same day? That could cause a problem it there was not enough time between them to make the return leg.

KL has a time difference from BKK ... check google you'll see ... This almost got me on my return flight ... almost missed the flight... One hour difference...

Just Google Current time in Kuala Lumpur

Has anyone here tried the same day visa run successfully recently?

As I plan to do the same to KL... I had no problems booking the tickets on AirAsia tho I got the same message as others above...

I already have 2 60day tourist visa & 1 30 day visa stamped in my passport too. Anyone think this might be a problem?

Many Thanks for any feedback... Especially w how many stamps u had in your passport & if it was successful...
