For a ride on that as a public bus, it is 10 baht, but you need to have exact change ready. Ride a few steps past your destination; this will often mean it is difficult for him to back up the vehicle to talk to you. Hand him your money and walk away without even making eye contact. If you stand there looking like a fool waiting for a discussion, you will certainly get one.

From what I know, white bahbus between Pattaya & Sattahip is 20 baht.

A slightly shorter trip to BangSaray or NongNuch should be 20 baht too, not 10 or 30.

I will concede that to you. I have never ridden it as far as Nongnooch. But, have exact change ready, and don't stand there waiting for him to approve the amount you have given him.
