cockatoowho
Good luck in attempting to sue FIFA to save face. Thai football is now experiencing great results on the field, lets hope the off field antics by this grime doen't have too much of a negative effect on this. bruceybonus
Oh Dear, just how is this international disgrace to be spun locally ? Very easily. It will be conveyed as a misunderstanding & that everything is fine. As 99% of the nation are unable to read English due to the elite wanting to keep the nation uneducated, they will have no other external source to inform them. Much like all the other BS that is fed to them on a daily basis.

The question is will the local media cover it in any detail or will they follow any line the govt may take ?
Baerboxer
Blatter and Platini probably wish they could re-locate FIFA HQ to Thailand. Then all the massive corruption that riddles FIFA could've been smoothed over with little consequences for them and their trough sharing mates. Pesky American and Swiss agencies spoiling the feeding. Just think, if things had worked out differently in the UK. Thaksin could've still been Man City Chairman and maybe head of the FA by now. Quite a few British football clubs under Thai ownership or with big sponsorship deals now. Nice to see how easy it is for Thais to own businesses and property in the UK. DDbkh
I presume this has nothing to do with the very beneficial (then) deal PTT signed with Qatar after Thailand voted for that well known footballing metropolis to host the World Cup. It's presumably also a coincidence that a well known shareholder in PTT lives in Dubai which is not too far from Qatar.

And Thaksin was involved with football which is now exposed as hugely corrupt. Seems his link makes more sense than your blind defense of the bogeyman. But don't concern yourself with what goes on outside your little world. Fingers in ears, head in sand and keep hoping he comes back and makes you rich. The foxes (or should that be "the Foxes") are in charge of the hen houses of English football. All you have to do to become an owner in the EPL (and below) is demonstrate that you are a "fit and proper person". Nice and vague, and pure BS. mike324
A friend was in the Australian football committee in the AUS some 20 years ago, went for a FIFA conference in Europe - don't remember for what. He was put in a penthouse suite and girls were sent to his room ... guessing it had something to do with vying for votes from Australia

I'm not defending him simply questioning his relevance to the thread. He was never involved with FIFA.You introduced him to the subject in a ludicrously irrelevant way and naturally enough got mocked for it. And even now you compound your inanity by suggesting because he was "involved" in football (the Man City acquisition ) he is somehow connected to the local Thailand FIFA scandal. Bangkok Barry
Ah, Thailand. A nation to be proud of. Interesting, isn't it, that the article names the normalization team but not those who have been thrown out. Can't have them losing face, can we. Pathetic. The attorney of the FA was yesterday already turning things around, telling Thais how the English text from FIFA had to be interpreted, and it sounded nowhere near to what was, very clearly and in simple wording, written by FIFA... Let me guess: another case of 'FIFA (this time) is not my father'...? Aah, Thainess...
