Stupid Border Run Question

Hi. I need to do a border run to activate the 2nd entry of my TR visa soon. Despite having had several double entries before, I've never needed the 2nd one as I've always managed to get the 1st changed to a B in time, albeit with with a 30 day extension.

Obviously I want to maximise the 60 days, even though I start a new job next month, so my 'newbie' question is: Are the borders open on Sat / Sun?
