October 29, 201510 yr The pair have been described by police as "modern day bushrangers" - a term which originally referred to escaped convicts in the early years of British settlement who used survival skills to hide from the authorities. Given the number of convicted or accused miscreants who seem to easily elude the authorities in Farang Land someone could set up a profitable "Bush Rangers Get Away" travel agency with offices in Europe, Australia and the US. They could use Gary Glitter as a poster boy for one category of international jet setters. The Metropolitan Police disclosed that 123 offenders have managed to elude officers and their whereabouts remains unknown. Some of them have been missing for up to 14 years, Scotland Yard said. Detectives believe that 48 of them have managed to flee the country, despite warrants for their arrest being circulated nationwide.
