Taxi from Bkk to Hua Hin

Featured Replies

Hi all

My friend and I will be getting a taxi from Sukhumvit soi 50 to Hua Hin in a couple of days.

Just wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what is a fair price.

Not interested in sharing a mini bus or getting on a coach/bus.

Thanks in advance smile.png

100 km - about 1000 baht. So it should be something around 2.500. My own experience- trip from Bkk to Loei( 500 km) for 5500 baht.Taxi meter

Thanks Alex..That sounds good thumbsup.gif

Private car and driver costs 4000 baht return.

Hello,

A taxi from Central BKK to HuaHin (about 230km) costs you between

2,000B and 2,500B, I'd say.

How much did you pay for that?

Thaicalltaxi, used them A few times, Camry private car, +_ 2000B

2000-3000+ Baht. The bigger / nicer the car, the more it will cost.

Of course you can carry a lot more luggage in certain models of vehicle but with most regular taxis you will be lucky to get a single suitcase and a small bag on top of the huge gas cylinder they keep in the back of those things.

Thanks everyone for your help. A normal taxi will do.. we'll take a suitcase between us and a small bag each.. and some beer money ;)

Thanks again all. Have a good weekend

anyone have a way of finding a Taxi driver who will drive safe and not try and save 15 minutes on the trip driving like a madman !

Once Taxi drivers get out on the open road they take more chances than in the city (which is bad enough)

and seat belts in the back would be nice too.....but mayb e not possible
