Newservers in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi

Anyone use news servers in Thailand? (Usenet)

In Australia l use Astraweb and Newshosting which l will use while i'm in Thailand.

Are there ports blocked in Thailand or open to use?

Thanks

bruce

I also use astraweb and can utilize the full download speed. I have 50mb fiber optic and it works.

I use 3bb fiberoptic, however what provider works good seems to be a local thing. What works good here might work bad somewhere else.

I've used Newsguy for years with no problem. I use TOT Fiber

I think you are misunderstanding what usenet newservers are.

They are a relic from the early days of internet filesharing, and have survived pretty much under the radar all these years.

They are much faster as torrents but you have to pay for them.
