I just moved to Chiang Mai last week.

Wondered if anyone had any suggestions towards teaching English. Im only looking to teach a few days per week for social reasons.

Happy for any suggestions.

happy days.

Hi horisize

You are probably looking for p-t teaching at a language school. Some places below with my opinion.

British Council

Good employer although your p-t teaching will be weekends to kids

IDP Australia Centre

Professionally run place.

AUA

Professionally run place although some of the rule of the director may p you off.

King's College

I believe OK but again I think only weekends for p-t.

EFL Learning Centre

Relaxed, flexible system. Small class sizes (1-6 students)

CEC

OK, usually has work

NES

Not unless you are desperate

EF

Read about the owner on a website called teflwatch.org

Prestige

i have heard some negative stories about the owner.

YMCA

OK

Or find privates. There was a thread on this a few months ago.

Good luck

You need to be aware that part-time work will almost certainly be without a work permit, and thus illegal.
