For anyone else in similar situation My iphone is with Verizon (US). Regular bill with international calling is $120/mo. Add another $100/mo for the international package when outside the US. Unlimited talk/text but only 250 min. talk AIS shows as the local network So 3-meter HDMI cable + USB-C + iphone 15 is the setup. Airplay was also installed problem? Picture cutting off too much. Exasperating. So based on narkedfiver’s superb post I put my iphone on Airplane mode & connected to the apartment building wifi Miraculous! 👍 I’m no geek so can’t claim to understand how the mighty Verizon was beaten by the building’s generic wifi Happy that it works!!! 😁 -
