eldragon
Sometimes I think I feel young. Then I hang out in a room full of people half my age and realize I really don't. I'm just more liberal and carefree than most of the people my age.

F4UCorsair
I'm a very hansum man, in my 60's, but feel as though I'm still in my 20's. Two hip replacements, about to have both knees done also, the legacy of running 20 kms a day on roads, in inadequate shoes (before good shoes were available), but I still spend an hour in the gym three or four days a week. Not smoking, and drinking alcohol moderately, are key factors in fighting off age, but exercise is most important, preferably low impact, so joints aren't damaged. The old cliche that you're only as old as the woman you feel is true, as I see it. My gf is almost 20 years younger. Overall, I think ageing is largely a state of mind...... think young, stay young, but Iit does have limits.
fang37
I am old both inside & outside. I will burn @ 11am next Tuesday. Afterwards, free food & DRINKS! Don't rush - 1 plate of sandwiches & 1 carton of beer for all.
ttthailand
Age is only a number and has little meaning on how old you look. I am in my late fifties but everyone thinks I am in my forties. My secret, stay fit, eat healthy, don't smoke or drink too much, keep stress levels down and keep a young girl by your side.
NoshowJones
Oh yes. Im 48 but in my head Im 20. The only problem being that my hangovers take longer to recover from. People who drink excessively age quicker, take a good look at someone who drinks every day, they can look up to twenty years older very easily. NoshowJones
I sill look and feel young but have to admit I prefer to feel older women. To my knowledge, I have never been with a girl older than myself, and if I thought a girl looked older than me, there was no way I would ask her out. MaeJoMTB
Generally fat guys look 10 years younger. fat face = less lines But for fitness, at 60 I'm the fittest I've been in my life. And fitter than 98% of people will ever be at any time in their life. Cycling, running, hiking every other day or more. Resting pulse now at 45bpm or less. You don't have to accept your bones getting brittle, your muscles wasting and your weight increasing. It just takes a bit of work. F4UCorsair
I should have mentioned diet as part of the equation, balanced diet, plenty of fruit and veg, low fat and sugar, regular red meat and fish intake, and you'll be growing younger by the day. CharlieH
Takes all sorts, age is important to some, means nothing to others. Age is mostly just a number. Doesnt or need not define you, for many things its not even relevant. As for relationships, up to the individuals, as long as no one is being pressured and are both consenting adults, then whatever makes them happy. My ex was 5 yrs older than me, have had relationships with up to 18 yrs younger than me. Just numbers.
WitawatWatawit
When I was young, I wanted to be much older - the patriarchal type of infinite wisdom, looked up to by the younger generation. Now that I'm 64, and my daughter refers to me as that "silly old codger", I want to be young again, but wise beyond my years and with dash and elan and a grand figure of sophistication. The reality is, of course, much different. It's a pot belly, huffing and puffing on the exercise bike, creaking joints, irritable bowels, failing eyesight and a prescription for viagra. I have wisdom, but it's been superseded by Google Search, and sophistication, which which only I can see when I take a selfie. Thanks heavens the neighbors are kind. nidieunimaitre
Way back in the sixties I had a problem with the old generation. Now I still have a problem with the old generation. Does that mean I am still young?

Baerboxer
Yes. I still think I could do the sports and martial arts I used to do - but in reality, I couldn't. I don't smoke, drink very little alcohol but, as with all, age changes the body etc. I try and keep fit, but not as before. At a thorough medical, on returning to UK from overseas, a doctor told me that your body is like a nice car. You would expect problems after running it for 30, 40, 50 years etc! When I was 18 my gf was 25, real goer. At 28 my gf was 42, fit and married; at 32 gf and first wife was 27. Current wife is 19 years younger. As another poster commented age is just a number. All of us our different and age differently, mentally and physically.

Because I was referring to Nikmar as he seems to have regular hangovers, and yes, smoking also ages you. And again, no, I do not smoke and never have, same applies to drinking, and I do look much younger than my age.
