I just had a wagyu burger at Papillotte Kitchen at Crystal Rachapruek. Papillote is a French-ish "comfort food" cafe, and the menu looks decent. I am not a huge fan of wagyu for burgers. Wagyu burgers tend to be too mushy and flavorless for me. But I don't have many options near me, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I sat down, I was given a nice, airy dinner roll which was excellent. Service was very slow, which put me in a bad mood, but when I finally received the burger (which came with curly fries), I was very impressed. It is easily the best burger I have had in Thailand. And at 345 baht, it is almost half price for the El Gaucho burger (I love El Gaucho for steaks, but the burger there is only so-so.)

Overall, it was a very pleasant surprise.

Today I had a Sizzler Cheese Burger and it was good. Unfortunately the cost is 450 Baht with the salad bar. I could only eat half of the burger. It is too much.

Go to Bradmans Bistro and Bar Soi 23 near Soi Cowboy for a great burger made with New Zealand beef. They also do one of the best steaks in Thailand
