Compatible Laptop for Linux Mint 22 (Wilma)
I have a Dell xps , but you can forget about gestures on touchpad and screen like in windows. In linux only basic gestures and if you want to change the cooling like in mydell or dell power manager you have to go in the bios to set it. Too many downsides using linux mint. Newest computers are less supported too in linux. Forget about the easy taskmanager of W11 , no looking at the status of your gpu's. So glad to reinstall W11. But at least in linux there is no mandatory Dell audio enhancer cr_p. -

Thailand's Expats Urged to Register with TRD for Tax, Says Expert
I am sure my local RD office will be very unhappy if all the farangs in the neighborhood (there are many) turn up and want to file nil returns or similar cr@p. I remember my last filing. I include the complete conversation: ไม่มีรายได้อื่น? ไม่มี That's the level, they (and I) can handle. But from Kbanks red mails, it's clear, that - as in my home country - the TRD uses the banks as tax inspectors, expects every foreigner to get a TIN (guess why?) and is going after the pensioners. I never believed those who in the beginning said they wouldn't go after the pensioners - they are. Low hanging fruit. Who will win? The local RD office and @JimGant? Or their bosses, far away, and @chiang mai? -

Elderly Foreigner Found Unconscious on Road Sparks Concern in Nakhon Ratchasima Police and emergency responders were called to the Phimai-Chumphuang road in Rangka Yai Subdistrict, Phimai District, where an elderly foreigner, approximately 70 years old, was found intoxicated and unconscious with a head injury. First aid was administered at the scene before the man was transported to Phimai Hospital for further treatment.
