Is there still a 90 day limit per 6 months for the 30 day visa stamp

Featured Replies

The last time in entered the Kingdom the Immagration Officer told me that there was a new 90 day limit per 6 month period. Has this been lifted or is this indeed the law for the 30 day visa stamp that one gets on arrival.

Thanks.

The 90 days in 6 months rule was rescinded in 2008 when they changed it to 15 days at a border crossing.

All there is an alert when you reach 6 visa exempt entries. Some border crossings have said the alert is for 90 days.

The alerts are only intended to inform the officer so that he checks your history of entries to see if they are out/in visa runs.

Thanks ubonjoe, But unclear as,to the alerts that you mention such as the 6 in/out limit?

It is an alert for all visa exempt entries over an unknown amount time.

When the officer looks at your history after getting the alert he should mainly be looking for entries that fall into the out/in visa run category.
