Just a question out of curiosity.

My sister-in law is married to a Thai man, her Laotian.

I know she does extensions (or at least goes to immigration) every year but never asked her of the details.

They wouldn't be able to met the 400k in bank or 40k income that I know, is there different requirements for women marrying Thai men?

As to the query just above the Police Order of 2014 at 2.18 states the requirement of a non-Thai man married to a Thai woman but makes no specific mention of a non-Thai woman married to a Thai man.

So the monitory requirements only exist for foreign men, not women.
