<deleted> is it with some male Thai cats?

Since we built a house here years ago we always seem to get more than our fair share of stray / feral cats that take up home here (at one point there was 23 of them and never had a problem-90% females)

The past couple of years there have been a few of the male cats that are simply disgusting.

We have sand around the house for over 50 yards, normally the cats, being pretty clean and fussy usually use the sand as a toilet - no problem. The land covers 20 Rai of trees so there is plenty space.

However, the latest batch of Tom cats have been very different. Two in particular are were a big problem (dealt with)

They started wandering into the kitchen and squirting urine everywhere, taking dumps on the cooker, the table the motorbikes and basically anywhere that was as offensive as possible.

My missus used to feed them and put water out, later after the constant defecating and urinating I took a gun to them - there is still one offender to be caught but it is a smart bugger!

At the end of the day I guess it wasn't "Curiosity" that killed the cat, it was ME! and guess what, I doubt "Satisfaction" will be bringing it back! I can also confirm that non of them appeared to actually have 9 lives either, just the one!

A bit like "Don't bite the hand that feeds!"

What on earth makes a cat's nature so different? We have had loads of cats over the years (which I must admit, I hate cats, but can put up with them if they keep out of my way) Why do they destroy and mess up their own homes? Never saw it before until I came here.

Had the same problem with some dogs in our garden too. Solved a similar way.
