NamKangMan
Take the time to Read up On Land Law. 101. Bye bye now. It takes about 2 seconds to read "Land Law 101 for Foreigners in Thailand." Chapter 1: A Foreigner can not own land in Thailand. That's the end of course.

Snackbar
Need another minute? Ask around as to who owns what. A layer or estate agent may say a foreigner cannot 'own' land but......can occupy, can buy & sell, can transfer ownership. Ponder at your leisure. Hope you have a good day. Not sure why so many say that there is no condos for 2.5mb - you can buy already a house for around 3mb in Chalong, then you got all good beaches in 20 min. driving. Ok, nothing is "close" to the beach, on the other hand, in Phuket, everything is close to the beach.

Snackbar
Grade D construction, 34sqm apartment in a 350 'condo' new development B65,000 / sqm. No space saving innovation, cheap floor tiles, Air con on the balcony. Awful. Who's buying this type of property?

What you did not get? For some it can be a great value alternative to get a house instead of a condo.
Snackbar
Why buy a condo for 2.5 when you can get one for 600,000? Why buy a house for 3m when you can get one for 1? Nonsense isn't?

You do realize that condos and houses come in a variety of different styles, sizes and locations, right? Could that account for the price differences?
