Healthy thai cook book?

Featured Replies

My wife and I have started to eat healthy, but most of the blogs and books are on western food, She'll eat it but she refers to it as eating like a cow ;0) I'm wondering if there someone that has published a book or blog on healthy thai cooking, or at least spicy healthy eating.

There's squillions of books on Thai cooking, if your in Thailand head to any decent book store, most western countries carry a good range of Thai cook books too, it is one of the popular cuisine of the world.....you know....

If you know some Thai recipe names google Taste.com.

I know there are a ton of thai cookbooks however most thai dishes are not particularly great on a diet. Hence looking for healthy version of thai food

I choose the dish i like and if one particular item is not what i consider to be healthy or beneficial i change it or delete it or reduce it, to be honest doesn't matter what the cook book is about in say 30 recipes maybe only 4 or 5 would appeal to me anyway but to get those 4 or 5 i need to buy the book.

You could do what i do and thats search out asian style and vegetarian cook books then spice them up with ginger and or chilli, its about being creative.

Nearest to your requirement I know of is Jackum Brown's 'vegetarian thai' (ISBN 0 600 59406 8).

If you weren't vegetarian, I think you could add meat to many of the dishes without spoiling them.
